Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to prevent the occurrence of cavitation in a refrigerant pump due to the reduction in a net positive suction head in a cooling device. A cooling device according to the present invention uses a refrigeration cycle of circulating a refrigerant among a heat receiver (1), a compressor (2), a radiator (3), and an expander (4). The cooling device is characterized by comprising: a tank (5) in which a refrigerant supplied from the expander (4) is separated into a gas phase and a liquid phase; a pump (6) that feeds the liquid phase refrigerant separated in the tank (5) to the heat receiver (1); and a control unit (7) that controls the amount of pressure rise of the compressor 2 in the refrigeration cycle. Further, the cooling device is characterized in that the control unit (7) raises pressure in the compressor (2) by limiting a net positive suction head value of the pump (6) not to be equal to or lower than a prescribed value.
