Abstract:
Provided are: a cooling structure capable of efficiently cooling a leading end of a screw feeder with a cooling medium; a screw feeder; and a cooling method. This cooling structure (20) for a screw feeder for supplying a biomass fuel into a furnace of a gasification furnace comprises: an outer jacket (21) which defines a space therein and in which a closed leading end (21c) is located on the furnace internal side; and an inner jacket (22) which is provided in the space of the outer jacket (21), defines therein an outward path (23) of a cooling medium (W), and defines therein an inward path (24) of the cooling medium (W) between the inner jacket and the outer jacket (21), and in which a spray port (22a) from which the cooling medium (W) flowing through the outward pat (23) is sprayed is formed at a position facing the closed leading end (21c) of the outer jacket (21).
