Abstract:
Provided are video coding and decoding devices that make it possible to enhance coding efficiency. This video decoding device comprises: an OOB determination unit that compares the coordinates of a reference block with the coordinates of a picture to determine whether the reference block is to be subject to OOB processing; and an OOB mask derivation unit that compares the coordinates of pixels contained in the reference block with coordinates of the picture to derive mask data indicating the availability of each pixel, wherein the OOB determination unit is characterized by detecting whether wraparound processing is applied to the reference picture containing the reference block to determine whether the reference block is to be subject to OOB processing, and the OOB determination unit is characterized by detecting whether reference picture resampling processing is applied to the reference picture containing the reference block to determine whether the reference block is to be subject to OOB processing.
