Abstract:
The present invention provides a copolymer of chloroprene and an unsaturated nitrile compound, which is able to be industrially utilized, while having a sufficient Mooney viscosity. Specifically, the present invention provides a copolymer of a chloroprene monomer and an unsaturated nitrile compound, which has a Mooney viscosity ML (1 + 4) 100°C of 20-80, while having a functional group that has a structure represented by general formula (1) or (2). (In general formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclyl group.)
