Abstract:
A copper-coated steel wire according to the present invention includes: a steel core wire; and a copper or copper-alloy coating layer that covers the outer circumferential surface of the core wire. In a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the core wire, the value of the ten-point average roughness Rzjis of the outer circumferential surface of the core wire is 50-250% of the thickness of the coating layer.
