Abstract:
This copper-and-titanium-containing composition is a copper-and-titanium-containing composition that contains: a titanium oxide including a crystalline rutile-type titanium oxide; and a divalent copper compound. The crystalline rutile-type titanium oxide is a titanium oxide having a half-value total width of no more than 0.65 for the strongest diffraction peak corresponding to the rutile-type titanium oxide, in an X-ray diffraction pattern plotting the diffraction line intensity relative to the diffraction angle (2θ) using a Cu-Kα ray, and, as a result, has excellent anti-viral properties in bright and dark locations, and excellent organic compound degradability in bright locations.
