Abstract:
A core-shell structure, characterized in that it comprises a core (2) comprising nano-particles and a shell (4) covering the core (2) and has a controlled cavity (3) formed by the core (2) and the shell (4); and a method for preparing the core-shell structure which comprises forming particles comprising a semiconductor, metal or polymer capable of dissolving through absorption of a light and covering the particles with a shell (4) comprising a semiconductor, metal or polymer not dissolving by a light, to form a core-shell structure (5), and irradiating the core-shell structure with a light having a controlled wave length, to form a controlled cavity (3) within the core-shell structure according to the size selection optical etching method. The core-shell structure allows the preparation of a catalyst exhibiting an extremely high efficiency, and can be used as a base for preparing a nano-material required for a nano-device.
