Abstract:
With livestock (A) being pastured on a farm (F), livestock (A) is provided with a communications unit (101) that measures the number of steps of the livestock (A). A step count correction device (103) receives measurement results information that represents the results of measurements of the number of steps of the livestock (A) from the communications unit (101) via a relay (102) installed on the farm. In addition, the step count correction device (103) acquires information representing weather at the farm (F) when the communications unit (101) has measured the number of steps of the livestock (A). Furthermore, the step count correction device (103) corrects the number of steps that has been measured for the livestock (A) according to the weather at the farm (F) when the communications unit (101) has measured the number of steps of the livestock (A). The step count correction device (103) transmits the information representing the number of steps after correction to a client device (104).
