Abstract:
A corrosion-resistant underwater cable, comprising a cable core unit and, in an outward sequence on the periphery of the cable core unit, an insulating layer (1), a metal Kevlar layer (2), a waterproof layer (3), and a corrosion-resistant layer (4). The cable core unit comprises two triangular frames (5) and multiple H-shaped frames (6), where one equilateral triangular frame is rotated 180° to be vertically overlapped with the other equilateral triangular frame to constitute one primary frame of which the cross-section is a regular hexagon and six secondary frames of which the cross-section is an equilateral triangle, the cable core (7) is provided in a cavity of the primary frame, and lead cores (8) are provided in cavities of the secondary frames. The H-shaped frames are in proximity at one end to one apex of the primary frame and in proximity at the other end to the insulating layer. All apexes of the triangular frames are in proximity to or in contact with the insulating layer. The triangular frames are metal frames. The H-shaped frames are nylon frames. The cable is provided with excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical performance, and strength and also provides the advantages of environmental friendliness and strong resistance to interference.
