Abstract:
This cosmetic implement (1) comprises: a core chuck member (5) having a spiral mallet (7) in which a spiral groove is provided to the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical hollow part, a reciprocating rod (9) that has a fitting part for fitting into the spiral groove (6) and that is configured so as to be capable of advancing into and retreating from a distal-end opening in the spiral mallet (7) due to a rotational operation of the spiral mallet (7), and a core gripping member (8) provided to the distal end of the reciprocating rod (9); and a holder (2) exhibiting a cylindrical shape that passes through to the distal end and forms a hollow-part wall, the core chuck member (5) being inserted into the holder (2). The core gripping member (8) has: a cylindrical base part; and a plurality of gripping pieces (12) that are implanted so as to face upward and be separated by a gap in the circumferential direction from the upper-surface outer peripheral end of the base part, the gripping pieces (12) being guided by the hollow-part wall during reciprocation. The core gripping member (8) is configured to be capable of protruding until the upper surface of the base part (11) is exposed from a distal-end opening in the hollow-part wall. The portion of the hollow-part wall that guides the plurality of gripping pieces is formed linearly along the reciprocation direction.
