Abstract:
The present invention provides a cosmetic material capable of providing superior skin permeable properties and moisture retention properties using a hyaluronic acid having a reduced volume; and a beauty care method using the cosmetic material. The cosmetic material according to the present disclosure comprises a hyaluronic acid and a magnesium salt, wherein: the magnesium salt is included at a concentration exhibiting ion intensity of 0.01 or more; and the mass ratio of the magnesium salt to the hyaluronic acid is 1.0 or more. The beauty care method according to the present disclosure involves applying said cosmetic material to a body surface or body hair.
