Abstract:
A coupled polarizer 20 comprises a plurality of polarizers 12 arranged side by side, and a separator layer (polarizer supporter) 21 that extends along the arrangement direction of the plurality of polarizers 12 and supports the plurality of polarizers 12, the separator layer 21 including at least a polarizer superposition part 22 superimposed on the plurality of polarizers 12 and an extension part 25 extending from the polarizer superposition part 22 along a direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction.
