Abstract:
This cover glass for covering a display panel in a display device is provided with: a front surface that does not face the display panel; a rear surface that faces the display panel; a front chamfered portion which is a chamfered portion on the front surface; and a rear chamfered portion which is a chamfered portion on the rear surface. The surface roughness Ra on the front chamfered portion is greater than 100 nm, and the surface roughness Ra on the rear chamfered portion is 100 nm or less.
