Abstract:
This creep life evaluation method for a nickel alloy component comprises: a heat treatment step (S10) in which a nickel alloy component is subjected, in advance, to heat treatment for producing surface-opening cracking only on the front surface side of a nickel alloy component in the middle period of the creep life thereof; a cracking determination step (S12) in which the heat treated nickel alloy component is cooled through the discontinuation of the heat exposure that the heat treated nickel alloy component is subjected to in the usage environment thereof and a determination is made as to whether there is surface-opening cracking in the heat treated nickel alloy component; and a creep life evaluation step (S14) in which whether the heat treated nickel alloy component has reached the middle period of the creep life thereof is evaluated on the basis of whether there is surface-opening cracking in the heat treated nickel alloy component.
