Abstract:
Provided is a method for confirming, in advance, the appearance color of a crown after mounting when a crown having a specific surface color arrangement pattern is mounted to an abutment tooth of a patient, the crown being fabricated by CAD/CAM using a milling block made of a nonmetal material. Using a demonstration appliance (30) or an appliance kit (1) which includes: a crown sample (10) having an open hollow part, the crown sample (10) being fabricated by CAD/CAM using a milling block that is essentially identical to the milling block used to fabricate the abovementioned crown; and an abutment tooth sample (20) which has a shape and size such that the abutment tooth sample (20) can be freely inserted and removed from the open hollow part (11), and the surface color arrangement pattern of which is essentially identical to the color of an abutment tooth of the patient, the abutment tooth part (21) is inserted in the open hollow part (11), and the appearance color of the crown sample (10) before and after insertion is confirmed.
