Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a binder for a non-aqueous secondary battery separator that can form a non-aqueous secondary battery separator that has excellent flexibility, adhesion, electrolyte resistance, and heat resistance. The purpose of the present invention is also to provide a power storage device that has excellent long-term storage stability and that can provide excellent power storage device characteristics and separator characteristics even after long-term storage. The binder for the non-aqueous secondary battery separator contains a polymer (A) which is a polymer of monomers including a monomer having an acidic functional group, a monomer having an amide group, and a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer, and a condensation product of a silane compound, and the glass transition temperature is –60°C to 60C. The power storage device has a separator base provided with at least one protective layer between a pair of electrodes, wherein the protective layer contains a polymer of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and a silane compound, the silane compound having no ethylenically unsaturated groups but having a C3-12 alkyl group.
