Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cultivation method for fishery resources and a cultivation system for fishery resources that can be suitably used in a relatively deep water region and the like. [Solution] A cultivation system 10 for fishery resources comprises: a power supply device 20 having a power generation device 200 that is disposed on or in the water and generates electric power using renewable energy; and an illumination device 30 that receives electric power from the power supply device 20 via a power cable 60 to generate artificial light. While being disposed deeper than a water depth of 10 m, the illumination device 30 is made to generate artificial light, thereby allowing seaweed, seagrass, and phytoplankton to photosynthesize.
