Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a compact culturing device 10 capable of performing large-scale culturing in an aseptic state. [Solution] This culturing device 10 is provided with: a bag holding part 31 having ports 73, 74 through which a liquid flows, a culturing bag 70 in which cell culturing is enabled, holding plates 42, 43 which hold a culturing container 70, and rotating shafts 48, 49; a rotating mechanism 34 which supports and rotates the rotating shaft 48; a liquid supply and discharge mechanism 37 which supplies and discharges the liquid to and from the culturing bag 70; and a rotation control unit 20 which controls the rotation of the rotating mechanism 34. The rotation control unit 20 controls the bag holding part 31 to assume a first position in an approximately horizontal direction according to first information, to assume a second position when a culture medium in the culture bag 70 is discharged from the port 74 according to second information, and to assume a third position in an approximately vertical direction when a cell suspension in the culture bag 70 is discharged from at least the port 74 according to third information.
