Abstract:
The present invention relates to a curable composition comprising: (A) a polypseudorotaxane monomer that has a composite molecular structure composed of a ring-shaped molecule having a polymerizable functional group and an axle molecule that passes through the ring interior of the ring-shaped molecule, wherein at least one terminal of the axle molecule has no bulky groups; and (B) a polymerizable monomer other than (A) the polypseudorotaxane monomer. The present invention can provide a curable composition that can produce a high-quality material at high productivities, while incorporating a feature possessed by polyrotaxane into a cured article (the feature whereby the ring-shaped molecule moves along the axle molecule) and maintaining excellent mechanical properties. The present invention can also provide a cured article using the curable composition.
