Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a curable composition whereby a cured material having a low Abbe number and increased durability can be fabricated, and of providing a curable composition in which increasing of the viscosity thereof is suppressed. The present invention relates to a compound represented by general formula (A). The present invention furthermore relates to: a curable composition containing a compound represented by general formula (A), a predetermined (meth)acrylate monomer, and at least one species selected from a photoradical polymerization initiator and a thermal radical polymerization initiator; a cured material formed by curing the curable composition; an optical member; and a lens.
