Abstract:
Provided is a current collecting member for a cylinder body plating apparatus, which is used at the base end of the spindle of a chuck cone, thereby making it possible to plate a sliding surface without oiling and to prevent efficiently high-temperature heat generation at low voltage without generating abnormal discharge. Provided also is a plating apparatus. The current collecting member is attached to the base end of a chuck cone of a cylinder body plating apparatus in which both ends of a cylinder body are gripped with a chuck cone and the cylinder body is rotated to perform plating, the current collecting member including a cylindrical base material and a plurality of lubricating regions made of oil-impregnated carbon or oil-impregnated carbon-containing resin provided on the sliding surface of the cylindrical base material in a scattered manner.
