Abstract:
A current drive device is provided with: a control unit (3) which, for a first drive circuit, makes a setting unit (4) repeat setting of at least a drive period and a measurement period, and for a second drive circuit, makes the setting unit repeat setting of a non-drive period and only a measurement period; an acquisition unit for acquiring the voltage level of a data line (Ld) in one of the drive circuits for which the measurement period has been set, as a characteristic value of the drive circuit that includes a transistor electrically connected to the data line; and a correction unit. The correction unit determines a representative value of characteristic values in the second drive circuit from the characteristic values of the second drive circuit acquired by the acquisition unit. Then, a correction degree corresponding to the representative value determined by the correction unit is calculated, and furthermore a drive level for the first drive circuit is corrected on the basis of the correction degree calculated by the correction unit and the characteristic value of the first drive circuit. A current value oscillation phenomenon in a current drive element caused by an ambient temperature is thereby suppressed.
