Abstract:
A current sensor 1 has a core 3 that has a ring shape having a gap 33 formed therein and is disposed so as to surround the periphery of a bus bar 2 and a Hall element 5 that has a magnetosensitive surface 50 for reacting to the magnetic field 8 generated in the gap 33 in accordance with the current 7 flowing through the bus bar 2 and is mounted on a substrate 4. A magnetosensitive point 51 that is the center of the magnetosensitive surface 50 of the Hall element 5 is disposed further to the inner circumferential side than the thickness center line 11 of the core 3 and is disposed in the gap 33 so as to be biased toward either end surface 31 or end surface 32, which oppose each other.
