Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a current transformer which is resistant to a change in magnetic characteristics even when subjected to a shock, and a method for manufacturing the same. A current transformer 10 of the present invention comprises an annular core 20 including a magnetic material, a first half-body 32 having an annular recess 34, and a second half-body 33 closing the annular recess of the first half-body. The current transformer includes: a core case 30 in which the core is housed in the annular recess, the core case 30 being formed by inserting the core in the annular recess of the first half-body and then coupling the first half-body and the second half-body to each other; and a winding 40 wound on the core case. A gel material 50 is interposed between the annular recess of the first half-body and the core.
