Abstract:
A cutaneous sensation stimulation apparatus according to the present invention is provided with: a probe; a heat flow sensor; a temperature adjustment element; a reference adjustment unit; and an examination execution unit. The probe is disposed facing an examination site and has a stimulation surface that thermally stimulates the examination site. The heat flow sensor detects the heat flux that passes through the stimulation surface. The temperature adjustment element raises and lowers the temperature of the stimulation surface. The reference adjustment unit equalizes the temperature of the stimulation surface and the temperature of the examination site by controlling the temperature adjustment element so that the heat flux detected by the heat flow sensor is within a pre-designated range. The examination execution unit controls the temperature adjustment element to raise or lower the temperature of the stimulation surface from a state in which the temperature of the stimulation surface and the temperature of the examination site are equalized by the reference adjustment unit.
