Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cutting insert. The cutting insert according to one embodiment of the present invention forms dots between a main cutting edge and a chip breaker, wherein the dots form a bridge between the main cutting edges. Therefore, chips to be generated during a cutting process can come into contact with three points including the bridge, the dot, and a land part of the main cutting edge. The chips can exhaust the heat, which is generated in the cutting insert, while coming into contact with three points.
