Abstract:
The present invention is intended to minimize fluctuation in the ride quality of a vehicle due to fluctuation in damping force caused by moisture getting mixed in with an electrorheological fluid. The present invention provides a cylinder device comprising a cylinder, a working fluid sealed in the cylinder, and a rod extending from the cylinder interior to exterior, wherein the cylinder device comprises a moisture-absorbing mechanism in a portion that comes into contact with the working fluid.
