Abstract:
[Solution] A lead acid battery provided with a negative pole plate and a positive pole plate. The negative pole plate includes a negative pole electrode material containing a carbon material and an oil. The carbon material includes a first carbon material having a particle size of not less than 32 μm and a second carbon material having a particle size of less than 32 μm. The ratio R2/R1 of a powder resistance R2 of the second carbon material to a powder resistance R1 of the first carbon material is not less than 15 and not more than 155. The negative pole electrode material has an oil content of not less than 0.05 mass% and not more than 1 mass%.
