Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to suppress oil consumption quantity while making a cylinder oil adhere more uniformly atop a cylinder liner sliding surface. This cylinder lubrication system is provided, in a cylinder liner (1), with lubrication holes (8, 9) that are provided at a plurality of levels in relation to the sliding direction of a piston (3), said lubrication system being characterized in that a cylinder oil is injected from the lower-level lubrication hole (8) of the lubrication holes (8, 9) toward the inner surface of the cylinder liner (1), and the cylinder oil is supplied from the upper-level lubrication hole (9) of the lubrication holes (8, 9), said hole being provided above the lower-level lubrication hole (8), to the inner surface of the cylinder liner (1) or to a piston ring (2) of the piston (3).
