Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the load and shorten the data analysis time of an arithmetic processing device for acquiring a 3D velocity vector or three velocity components of a visualized fluid using a tomographic PIV measurement method. [Solution] Particle distribution at respective time periods (t,t+Δt) within a 3D space (α) is reconstructed (S3) on the basis of 2D image data captured by imaging devices (1-4), and 3D luminance information for two continuous time periods is obtained. Slice regions (β) that are of a prescribed thickness and divide the 3D space are set, and the particle distribution within a slice region is extracted (S4) from the 3D luminance information. The particle distribution within the slice region is projected on a plurality of virtual projection planes, and a plurality of virtual 2D particle images for the two continuous time periods are generated (S6). A 3D velocity vector or three velocity components of a visualized fluid in the 3D space are acquired (S7, S8, S11) on the basis of a 2D motion vector for particles within a plurality of image planes, which is obtained by subjecting the plurality of 2D particle images to 2D PIV.
