Abstract:
The cylindrical linear motor (1) according to the present invention is provided with: a cylindrical core (2) having a plurality of teeth (4) provided on the outer circumference in the axial direction at equal intervals; three U-, V-, and W-phase windings (5) mounted in slots (6) between the teeth (4), (4) of the core (2); and a cylindrical field 7 in which the core (2) is inserted internally and movably in the axial direction and an a magnetic pole M1 of N-pole and a magnetic pole M2 of S-pole are alternately disposed on the inner circumferential side in the axial direction. The field 7 has a yoke between the magnetic poles M1, M2 in the axial direction and, when n is an integer of 1 or more, forms a 2-pole/6n-slot structure in which 6n slots face 2 poles.
