A spring retaining seat (42) for retaining a coiled spring of a damper device has formed thereon a flat section (43), a recess (44), and an inner diameter-side protrusion (45). A clutch hub (10) with which the spring retaining seat (42) comes in contact has formed thereon: a flat section (14) coming in contact with the flat section (43); a protrusion (15) coming in contact with the recess (44); and an inner diameter-side recess (16) coming in contact with the inner diameter-side protrusion (45). A gap (s) is provided between a region of the spring retaining seat (42) and a region of the clutch hub (10), the regions being located between a second contact point (B) where the recess (44) and the protrusion (15) come in contact with each other, and a third contact point (C) where the inner diameter-side protrusion (45) and the inner diameter-side recess (16) come in contact with each other. The shape of each section is formed so that contact at each contact point (A, B, C) will occur at the same time when the spring retaining seat (42) and the clutch hub (10) come in contact with each other.
