Abstract:
This damper opening and closing mechanism for vehicle AC device can enlarge the operation space during servicing of the damper opening and closing mechanism and can improve the service maintenance properties or make the AC unit smaller and more compact. This damper opening and closing mechanism for vehicle AC device is provided with: a link plate (8) on which a cam groove (10) is provided along an arcuate outer peripheral region (11), and the center position of which is rotatably supported on the lateral surface of a case; and an actuator (17) which is arranged fixed on the outer surface of said link plate (8) and which drives rotation of the link plate (8). The link plate (8) is configured such that the center region (12), rotatably supported on the lateral surface of the case, is offset away from the actuator (17) by a prescribed dimension S with respect to the outer peripheral region (11) where the cam groove (10) is provided, and one surface of the actuator (17) is installed housed in said offset center region (12).
