Abstract:
At the point in time that a train in question arrives at a station that is to be the next station of departure, a running curve generation unit of an embodiment of this train operation control device takes into consideration cumulative consumed energy and produces a running curve from the departure of the train in question from the station of arrival until arriving at the next stopping station on the basis of whether or not the state is such that it is possible for a preceding train, which is a train traveling immediately in front of the train in question, and a following train, which is a train traveling immediately behind the train in question, to depart the next station of departure according to a preset running timetable, and so even if a delay has occurred, it is possible to achieve energy economy resulting from preventing an increase in wasted energy consumption and a recovery from the delay.
