Abstract:
A damping valve is equipped with: a valve disc in which a port for transmitting a working fluid is formed; an axial member extending in the axial direction from the valve disc, and positioned in the axial-center section of the valve disc; a ring-shaped leaf valve for opening and closing the port, and mounted to the outer circumference of the axial member so as to be adjacent to the valve disc; a main valve positioned near the leaf valve on the opposite side thereof from the valve disc, and positioned on the outer circumference of the axial member so as to be movable in the axial direction; and a ring-shaped Belleville spring for biasing the leaf valve toward the valve-disc side via the main valve. The main valve has: a spring-receiving part for contacting the end surface of the leaf valve on the side opposite the valve disc, and supporting the end section of the Belleville spring on the valve-disc side thereof; and a tube-shaped collar positioned so as to be movable in the axial direction in relation to the axial member, and extending in the axial direction from the inner circumference of the spring-receiving part. The Belleville spring is mounted to the outer circumference of the collar.
