Abstract:
Provided is a data acquisition device that is small but capable of highly accurate refractive index calculation. This data acquisition device 1' comprises an illumination device 2, first beam splitter 3, measurement unit 4, and photodetector 6. A measurement light path OPm and reference light path OPr are disposed between the illumination device 2 and photodetector 6. The first beam splitter 3 has an optical surface 3a having an optical film formed thereon. At the first beam splitter 3, the optical film converts incident light into light traveling in a first direction and light traveling in a second direction. The measurement light path OPm is positioned in the first direction and the reference light path OPr is positioned in the second direction. The measurement unit 4 is disposed on the measurement light path OPm. The position on the optical surface 3a of the first beam splitter 3 upon which light emitted from the illumination device 2 is incident changes with the passage of time. As the incidence position changes, the angle formed between the light traveling along the measurement light path OPm and the optical axis of the measurement light path OPr changes.
