Abstract:
A data collection method and apparatus, relating to the technical field of communications and used for executing a data collection procedure in a new networking architecture. The method comprises: a second network element receiving a first message sent by a third network element and encapsulated in the format of a first interface protocol (S801), and encapsulating the first message in the format of a second interface protocol to obtain a second message (S802), wherein the first interface protocol is an IPDR protocol, and the second interface protocol comprises a restconf protocol, a netconf protocol, an SNMP and an RPC protocol; the second network element determining, according to the second message, at least one first network element associated with the third network element, and respectively sending the second message to the at least one first network element (S804); the second network element receiving first data sent by the first network element and encapsulated in the format of the second interface protocol (S805), and encapsulating the first data in the format of the first interface protocol to obtain second data (S806); and the second network element determining, according to the second data, the third network element associated with the first network element (S807), and sending the second data to the third network element (S808).
