Abstract:
In a data communication system in which data communication between a master station and slave stations is performed by a token passing scheme using Ethernet (registered trademark), a communication processing unit (3M) in a master station (M) circulates a token frame between slave stations (SL1, SL2). When performing retry processing of a process for receiving data from the slave stations (SL1, SL2), the communication processing unit (3M) performs the retry processing without transferring the data from the slave stations (SL1, SL2) to a data processing unit (2) for transmitting data to and receiving data from an arithmetic processing device.
