Embodiments of the present application provide a data extraction method and a device. The method comprises: acquiring a data extraction instruction sent by a client, the data extraction instruction being an instruction issued by a target reviewer having logged into the client, and the data extraction instruction carrying a target user identifier of the target reviewer; acquiring, according to a pre-determined correspondence and the target user identifier, target extraction permission information corresponding to the target user identifier, the pre-determined correspondence comprising correspondence between multiple pairs of user identifiers and extraction permission information, and the extraction permission information being information indicating a permission for a corresponding reviewer to perform extraction on passing vehicle data; extracting, from passing vehicle data to be reviewed, first passing vehicle data to be reviewed that matches the extraction permission information; and sending the first data to be reviewed to the client. The embodiments of the present application reduce manual operations of a reviewer during a passing vehicle data extraction process, and accordingly reduce manual operations during a data review process, thereby improving the efficiency of data review.
