Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of achieving a sufficient hit rate when an application which uses a plurality of types of data which are close in time has accessed the data. A data management device is provided with: a usage situation storage means for storing a plurality of sets of data types which are used by a single application; a combination creation means for extracting, from a data storage means which stores data that have been assigned one of the data types, and from among sets of said data that have been assigned each of the data types stored by the usage situation storage means, a set in which the differences in the creation times of the items of data in the set in question are within a predetermined time period; and a rejection determination means for setting, from among the data stored by the data storage means, data other than data belonging to the extracted set as candidates for deletion.
