Abstract:
The present application provides a data packet transmission method and a communication device. Said method comprises: receiving a data packet, the data packet being in an undelivered state; and during operation of a reordering timer, delivering the data packet when a time delay cut-off moment corresponding to the data packet arrives or a time delay cut-off moment of a data packet before the data packet in a reordering window arrives. In the data packet transmission method provided in the present application, when a data packet is limited by a reordering timer and thereby in an undelivered state due to waiting for reception of an out-of-order data packet, the data packet can be delivered when a time delay cut-off moment corresponding to the data packet arrives or a time delay cut-off moment of a data packet before the data packet in a reordering window arrives, even if the reordering timer is in an operation state; thereby solving the problem, which may be caused by the limitation of the reordering timer, of timeout delivery of a data packet, and guaranteeing a time-delay requirement of the data packet.
