Provided is a data placement device (100), comprising: a file moving means (101) for moving a data file which is stored on a storage device to another storage device; and a placement control means (102) for, when the data file is moved among the storage devices by the file moving means (101), selecting, on the basis of the type of the destination storage device, whether to associate trigger information, which launches an agent application upon a user terminal, with a link file of the data file being moved.
