Abstract:
An audio/video data play control method is provided in the present invention, which belongs to the field of network communications. The method includes: obtaining a sum of time length of playable audio/video data in a playing buffer area; computing a time difference which is the difference between the current time and the reception time of a most recently received audio/video data packet; comparing the time difference with a set condition; according to the comparison result, stretching in the time domain of the audio/video data in the buffer area; and playing the processed audio/video data. An audio/video data play control apparatus is also provided in the embodiments of the present invention. The method and apparatus can decrease the discontinuous play of audio/video data and enhance the user experience.
