Abstract:
The present application provides a data prefetching method and apparatus. The data prefetching method is applied to a storage device: after a first data access request is executed, obtaining a first sequence flow length and a first access frequency of a target logic block, a cache of the storage device comprising a plurality of logic blocks, and the target logic block and adjacent logic blocks being comprised in the plurality of logic blocks; after a second data access request is received, modifying the first sequence flow length into a second sequence flow length, and modifying the first access frequency into a second access frequency, the second data access request being used for accessing the target logic block; and calculating the sequence degree of the target logic block according to the second sequence flow length and the second access frequency, and executing a data prefetching operation when the sequence degree of the target logic block exceeds a first prefetching threshold. A parallel sequential flow can be accurately recognized to trigger the data prefetching operation, and the data hit rate is improved.
