Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are a data processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a matrix to be calculated, for performing matrix multiplication; dividing a memory block where said matrix is located to obtain a plurality of sub-blocks, the size of the sub-blocks being smaller than the size of the memory block; acquiring a memory arrangement mode corresponding to said matrix; rearranging, on the basis of the memory arrangement mode, elements of said matrix in correspondence to the plurality of sub-blocks to obtain the rearranged matrix, wherein after block division, the number of element readings when reading, on the basis of the memory arrangement mode, the elements of the rearranged matrix from a memory is smaller than the number of element readings when reading the elements of said matrix before rearrangement; and executing the matrix multiplication on the basis of the rearranged matrix. Accordingly, the number of element readings when reading the elements of said matrix from the memory can be reduced, and thus operation efficiency of the matrix multiplication is improved.
