Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data processing method, for preventing a waste of air interface resources caused by issuing invalid data. The method of the embodiments of the present invention comprises: a base station forwarding a first data packet sent by a server to a terminal; the base station receiving a feedback message sent by the terminal to the server, the feedback message being used to indicate that the first data packet has been received by the terminal; the base station obtaining a TCP header in the feedback message; the base station determining, according to the TCP header, whether a TCP connection between the terminal and the server is valid; and the base station discarding a second data packet at the base station if the TCP connection is invalid, the first data packet and the second data packet being data packets sent by the server and received by the base station, and the second data packet being a data packet that has not been sent to the terminal by the base station. The embodiments of the present invention further disclose a base station, to prevent a waste of air interface resources caused by issuing invalid data.
