Abstract:

Provided are a data processing method and device. In the method, one or more applications are running on an operating system of a first apparatus. There are multiple paths between the first apparatus and a second apparatus. The multiples paths correspond to the one or more applications running on the operating system of the first apparatus. In a data reception process, the application running on the operating system of the first apparatus can acquire data from the multiple paths in only one system call operation, and data in multiple data packets can also be acquired from at least one of the multiple paths in the system call operation. In a data transmission process, the one or more applications running on the operating system of the first apparatus can distribute data thereof to the corresponding paths in only one system call operation. In the solution of the present invention, fewer system call operations and low overhead are required in a data reception or transmission process, thereby reducing CPU utilization and power consumption of a first apparatus.
