Abstract:
A data redistribution method and apparatus in a database cluster, and the database cluster. The database cluster comprises at least one first node, an original table is stored on the at least one first node; the data redistribution method is used for starting a data redistribution process, so as to redistribute the original table to the at least one first node and a second node. The data redistribution process comprises: starting a first transaction, the first transaction being used for creating a temporary list on at least one first node and a second node and associating import operations of an original list with import operations of the temporary list, so that new tuples imported during the redistribution process are inserted into the original list and the temporary list at the same time (step 101); starting a second transaction, the second transaction being used for obtaining, by means of filtering, old tuples in the original table according to a transaction identifier of the first transaction and redistributing the obtained old tuples to the temporary list (step 102); and after the second transaction ends, exchanging metadata of the original table and metadata of the temporary table (step 103).
