Abstract:
A data transmission method and apparatus, relating to the technical field of communications, and capable of compressing sensed data when a sensing device reports the sensed data, thereby reducing the consumption of air interface resources. The method comprises: a first apparatus receives first information, processes first data according to the first information to obtain second data, and sends the second data to a second apparatus, wherein the first information is used for indicating reference data of a first sensing area stored by the second apparatus, the first data comprises data sensed by the first apparatus in the first sensing area, and the second data comprises data in the first data which has changed compared with the first information.
