Abstract:

Provided is a decentered type contact lens with a novel structure that can control misalignment of a center of gravity position with a geometrical center of a lens so as to be small and can thereby make a position in the circumferential direction more stable while worn. The present invention is a decentered type contact lens (10) that has a peripheral part (20) provided on the outside perimeter of an optical part (18) provided in a center part, the optical center of the optical part (18) being set so as to be offset from the geometric center (16) of the lens, and that is provided with a circumferential direction alignment mechanism that sets the circumferential direction position for the lens in a worn state, wherein the offsetting of the center of gravity with respect to the geometric center (16) of the lens is set in the peripheral part (20), and the misalignment of the position of the center of gravity due to the offsetting of the optical center of the optical part (18) with respect to the geometric center (16) of the lens is corrected counteractingly by the offsetting of the center of gravity in the peripheral part (20).
